From the heart of the Baztan Valley, an ancestral oak begins its journey of transformation. Crafted into a three-meter- long table for the Witryh Yoga School, this project goes beyond design: it is a tangible metaphor for the inner process that unfolds with each practice, each breath.
Just as the soul is gradually refined over time–softening its edges and embracing its most subtle essence–the oak, hard and steadfast, has been shaped with care and reverence. Its contours are rounded, its imperfections embraced, and its material becomes fluid form. The result is a piece that invites connection: serene to the eye, gentle to the touch.
The Witryh table does more than support bodies and objects. It holds the symbol of an evolution: of the soul opening, of matter transforming, of design that breathes.
