Located prominently in Zhongshan, one of the busiest commercial districts in Taipei, the tower creates relief from the dense, populated urban environment offering a tranquil interior retreat. Here, an operable screen is used to enable desirable views to an adjacent green plaza while still providing much needed privacy from the adjacent Regent Hotel. The screen design additionally allows for filtered light to penetrate the skin to illuminate interior residential spaces.
