PU YONG TIANMU RESIDENCE
PU YONG
TIANMU RESIDENCE
The building is composed of 2 main volumes, a stable base for commercial activity and a soft curved upper volume for residential use. The curved form is a relief from the typically orthogonal, artificial edges of the urban environment, taking inspiration from natural organic forms like the nearby mountains and more distant forests. The facade is composed of an earthy tone material that contrasts with a whiter tone material to provide users with a feeling of calmness and cleanness that combines beautifully with the numerous trees of Zhongshan North Road.
The calm and ordered shape uses big windows to allow for plenty of natural light that is good for the health of its inhabitants. It allows the user to enjoy the beautiful skyline of Taipei City and Yangming Mountain.
